Airborne safe?

Hi ladies, wondering if you all take airborne during this time of year? I'm a teacher and would love to try and stay healthy and stave off sickness as much as possible. Is Airborne safe?

I feel like I looked into it at the beginning of my pregnancy and it said not for use when pregnant.

Not safe. I asked my doctor last pregnancy.

Probiotics, vitamin C, And of course your prenatal. The second you feel something coming on Neti pot, table spoons of Manuka honey and a dab of organic apple cider vinegar. If it's a mucus thing use 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon mixed with honey. Im a teacher as well and the Flu and some stupid stomach virus is going around. Not fun. Probiotics are supposed to help fight stomach problems.

Ugh great question.

I'm definitely coming down with something and was wondering the same thing.

My boss was sick and was coughing ALL OVER the place yesterday (not covering her mouth, wtf!!!) and I just knew I was gonna get it.

Of course today my chest is completely congested...hurts so bad :-(

I've been drinking so much OJ...this sucks!!!!

The pharmacist at my pharmacy said it was safe. Sure hope it is because I've used it a few times.

I've used it a few times. Didn't even think to ask but my baby is still good it's been a few weeks lol

I just called my doc yesterday and she said saline nasal spray and a humidifier at night. And hot water with lemon for this sore throat I have. Yay teachers. We always get what the kids have.

My OB said not during pregnancy because it has high levels of vitamin A which can be dangerous in excess during pregnancy.

Airborne is a no go. Says so on the bottle itself. I went through a cold and was desperate for some but, nope.

Thanks ladies, I figured as much. I didn't use it my first pregnancy at all, but one of the Drs at my ob office said it was safe and I was like....hmmm I just don't know about that, let me ask my ladies what they think too! I know it was a dr who said it was okay and I'm not implying I don't trust her but some Drs will say one thing is safe and the other dr will say it's not. It's a bit confusing and scary to me, but I try to stay on the side of caution either way.

I totally am a big lover and fan of Manuka Honey!! It was my go to last pregnancy and while nursing still!

Thanks for all your tips and insight ladies, I hope we all (and our babies too of course!) can stay safe and healthy this season for sure.
